Shelter Hours and Operations
Appointments are encouraged for priority customer service. Walk-ins will be accommodated whenever possible. Appointments will be made during normal business hours.
The shelter’s normal business hours are 11-5 on Monday and Friday; 11-6 on Tuesday and Thursday; and 12-4 on Saturday and Sunday. Residents may contact the shelter by calling 512-930-3592 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
To make an appointment to bring in a stray animal, call 512-930-3592 or email email@example.com.
Lost animals will be returned to their owners through appointments. Owners who are missing pets should complete a lost pet report, email a description to firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 512-930-3592.
Surrendered animals will be accepted by appointment only. Contact the shelter at email@example.com or 512-930-3592.
Adoptions are by appointment when possible. Interested adopters can view dogs and cats available for adoption, and submit an online application. After reviewing the application, staff will reach out to schedule appointments.
City licenses are sold online, or over the phone, email, or postal mail.
The shelter hosts several spay/neuter clinics for cats (belonging to City residents) and will update this page when dates are determined. The shelter does not have any vaccination clinics scheduled at present.
