The Georgetown Animal Shelter conducts various programs throughout the year with the help of volunteers and the Friends of the Animal Shelter charitable organization that enhance the lives of animals in the area.  These programs include educational opportunities, low-cost immunization and sterilization clinics, adoption events and fundraising.
