The Animal Services Department provides Animal Sheltering services and Animal Control for City of Georgetown residents.   Services are only provided for residents inside the city limits of Georgetown, but anyone may adopt from the shelter.

The Animal Shelter and Animal Services office is located at 110 W L Walden Drive across from the McMaster Athletic Fields near San Gabriel Park. You can reach the Animal Shelter and Animal Services office at (512)930-3592.  Detailed driving instructions can be found here: //maps.georgetown.org/animal-shelter/.

The Animal Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday : 11am – 6pm, Wednesday closed, Saturday – Sunday : Noon – 4pm.  Animal Control is dispatched by the police dispatcher at (512)930-3510.

Outside the City Limits?

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter serves county residents outside the city limits of Georgetown.  If you are a county resident looking for a lost animal or need to relinquish a pet, contact that shelter.  Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter address and phone number: 1855 S.
