40 Dogs in 40 Days Challenge Update

Update, 2/27/14

YOU DID IT!!! 45 dogs were adopted during the 40 Dogs in 40 Days Campaign, and that’s not even counting the people that stepped up to foster. And now the kennel floors are shiny, new and epoxied. We appreciate you all – for adopting, fostering, donating, and spreading the word.

No dogs at the Georgetown Animal Shelter. That’s what the shelter wants to see by January 13, when they start on the big undertaking of installing new kennel floors. These floors will be more durable, slip resistant and reduce the risk of contagious diseases. So on January 2, a campaign to empty the kennels will begin – the 40 Dogs in 40 Days Challenge.
