Low Cost Shots and Neutering
The shelter conducts low-cost vaccination clinics for cats and dogs as a service to the community. Pets can also get a FREE microchip with the purchase of any vaccine. First come, first served (no appointments). Cash or check only.
The clinics will be held at the animal shelter from 8:30-11 a.m. on the following Saturdays in March, May, July, and October, and November. The shelter’s address is 110 WL Walden Dr. (off College St., near San Gabriel Park).

Emancipet, an Austin-based nonprofit spay and neuter organization, now has an office in Pflugerville. They perform low-cost vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries. Check here for the costs for various vaccinations, tests and services.
Prices for spay/neuter surgeries are as follows:
- Female Dog : $65
- Male Dog : $65
- Female Cat : $49
- Male Cat : $35

Texas Humane Heroes
Texas Humane Heroes, formerly called the Humane Society of Williamson Country, is located in Leander and offers low-cost spay and neuter surgeries and vaccinations.

Local veterinarian John Tarleton, DVM, offers walk-up vaccination clinics at different locations most Saturdays, including at Georgetown Farm Supply once a month. Contact his office at 512-863-5319 for the schedule.
