Carli is this week’s Fire Rescue and Furry Friends featured pet (try saying that 3 times fast)! She has been at the shelter longer than any other dog and has the sweetest personality. You need this pooch in your life!
Carli is a naturally playful, curious and trusting canine. Take her for a big walk every day; give her something to do. After her job’s done, she’ll curl up with you in the evenings. She’s a dog on a mission to please you and herself.
Carli was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. She loves attention and walking. She walks well with a harness and wants to be your one and only. If you are looking for a dog to spoil and cuddle with, Carli is your gal!
Carli has heartworms, so if you want to take her home it would first be as a foster during her treatment (it’s easy we promise and the shelter pays for it). Once her treatment is through, you could adopt her.
Firefighter Longino has been with Georgetown since February 2015. He is a medic assigned to station one and also enjoys a long walk, just not with a harness.
Carli is currently available at the Georgetown Animal Shelter and waiting for her new family
