Berro was at one shelter for Christmas and is at another for Valentine’s Day.

Sweet Berro has been through a lot lately. He was adopted a few times from a Waco shelter, then apparently dumped in Georgetown. To top it all off, now he has heartworms.

Berro is a sweet and gentle 7-year-old, and he adores children. He’s good on a leash, knows quite a few commands (sit, shake, high five, down, stay, come, and roll over) and is crate trained. We have been told that he may have separation anxiety, but he does not show it at the shelter. This guy really just needs people to spend time with him and love on him.

Since he has heartworms, you would take him home as a foster first and then be able to finalize the adoption at the end of the treatment. Come meet Berro!

Adopt Berro at the Georgetown Animal Shelter, 110 Walden Dr.  Hours are Monday-Friday 11-6 (closed Wednesday) and Saturday-Sunday 12-4.
