How do I enter my code in my shopping cart?

Click on the bag in the top right corner of your screen. You’ll see a bar that says “Enter Coupon Code”. This is where you want to insert your giveback code, then hit “Apply”.

How do I enter my code at checkout?

Click on the bag in the top right corner of your screen, then select the yellow button that says “Checkout”. If you’re logged in, you’ll be brought directly to checkout, though you may need to login via “Returning Customer”, or choose to “Checkout as Guest” or “Create an Account”. After that, you’ll be brought to the Shipping page, where you’ll fill in your shipping address and shipping method, and decide whether or not to select free gift wrap. After clicking “Continue”, you’ll be on the Billing page! Here you can fill out your billing address, email address, and payment method, in addition to your coupon code. Look for a bar that says “Enter coupon code”. This is where you want to insert your giveback code, then hit “Apply”.

How do I know my code has been redeemed?

After you hit “Apply”, you’ll want to look for red text beneath each product in your Order Summary that says “Shop for Good!” – if you see that, your code has been redeemed.

Starting Monday, April 12, the Georgetown Animal Shelter will return to appointment-based operations. The shelter will be closed to walk-in traffic. Staff turnover and an increase in animal intakes have created a need for our staff to better manage workloads while new employees are recruited, hired, and trained. In the interim, appointments will be required to visit the shelter.

• Stray animals will be accepted by appointment only. To make an appointment, call 512-930-3592 or email animalsvc@georgetown.org.
• Lost animals will be returned to their owners through appointments. Owners who are missing pets should complete a lost pet report at https://pets.georgetown.org/shelter-operations-during-covid/lost-pets, email a description to animalsvc@georgetown.org, or call 512-930-3592.
• Surrendered animals will be accepted only on an emergency basis to minimize the number of animals coming into the shelter. Signs on the door and online will direct people to call for appointments.
• Adoptions will proceed via appointment. Interested adopters can view dogs and cats available for adoption at https://pets.georgetown.org/available-pets/, and submit an online application. After reviewing the application, staff will reach out to schedule appointments.
• City licenses will be sold at https://pets.georgetown.org/overview/licensing-your-pets/, or over the phone, email, or postal mail.
• The spay/neuter clinic scheduled for April will be postponed. Those that are already signed up will be contacted directly.
• Animal Control will conduct business as usual.

Appointments to drop off stray animals, surrender animals, and reclaim animals should be made during normal business hours. The shelter’s normal business hours are 11-6 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and 12-4 on Saturday and Sunday. Effective Wednesday, March 10, the animal shelter will continue to focus on protecting our customers and staff while providing the highest level of customer service by following these safety measures:

• Staff health screenings
• Hand sanitizing stations
• Enhanced sanitization schedules
• Safe-spacing, floor markers
• Physical distancing

Licensing your pets has never been easier with the introduction of new online forms: this one which includes a payment option and this one for those who get free licenses. Many citizens have asked for this convenience, and thanks to the City’s IT department, we can now offer it!
